Hot off the press:
Dr Anne Woolridge has recently joined Independent Safety Services as a waste management consultant. She comes to us from the University of Northampton where she has been working in a research post focusing on the effective management of healthcare wastes, including pharmaceutical and radioactive wastes.
In addition to her wealth of academic knowledge, Anne has healthcare waste auditing and training experience and operational understanding of Infection Control and Laboratory Practices. Anne sits on several key UK waste forums including the Steering Group of the Healthcare Waste and Resources Research Group, CIWM SIG for Healthcare Wastes and also works further afield such as being the Chair of the Technical Committee for Medical Waste Treatment and Technology for the Air and Waste Management Association (USA).
She is a familiar face in the healthcare waste field, having presented at numerous established network gatherings.
